Our Intermediate course offers a comprehensive experience for individuals with minimal prior screen printing experience, particularly those who have completed our Introduction to Silkscreen class.
Designed to build upon foundational skills, this course dives deeper into the art of screen printing. Students will explore the history of the print medium, contemporary art practices, and the diverse applications of the screen printing process.
You will learn practical skills step by step, enabling you to create both a mono screen print and a 2-3 color A3 sized screen print on paper. In the final session, students will have the opportunity to work independently, combining these two techniques.
By the end of this course, each participant will leave with five A3 mono prints, five A3 2-3 color edition screen prints, and five A3 edition screen prints created during the final session.
Our instructor brings over 10 years of experience in silkscreening, ensuring expert guidance throughout the course. Join us for an enriching artistic journey in the world of screen printing!
Class sizes at Dallas Print Studio are kept small to ensure personalized attention, so be sure to book early to secure your spot. We use water-based inks, and all materials are provided.
